PRESS RELEASE: CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19)
These are certainly unprecedented times both from a health perspective and from an economic one.
It is important to note that Stephen Francis Atelier is not “shutting down” nor is it “closed for business” nor is it on “an extended holiday”. The atelier remains fully open and functioning within the contracted working hours. We are simply looking at a combination of remote working and specific on-site engagements.
The Stephen Francis Atelier office is no stranger to working remotely. All our staff and contracted teams have been and will continue to work remotely. This practice has been in place for all our international clients and will now become the model for our local clients.
Simply: the “what” we do remains the same; it is the “how” that has altered.
While the Corona (COVID-19) virus continues to spread, we at Stephen Francis Atelier have aligned ourselves with the recommendations and protocols supported by both the WHO and the local NICD. Our highest priority is the well-being of all our clients and staff. With the increasingly unpredictable nature of this virus and with an abundance of caution in dealing with the growing outbreak, we want to assure you we will still be working hard for you and will continue to fulfil our daily commitments. That being said the following restriction is effective immediately:
Travel Restrictions: We will no longer be attending face-to-face meetings, and accordingly, we will be doing no travelling domestically or internationally. This is important to protect our clients as well as our team members. With support from clients, meetings are limited to WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom or other such software tools.
The way through this is working together, to be calm, pragmatic and practical.
